Venugopal Krishnan, Managing Scalable architecture in large datawarehouse

environment, 3:45 to 4:45 PM 

Venugopal is a seasoned professional with around 20 years of experience in the IT industry with extensive experience in database and data warehousing areas. He has architected and deployed multitude of data warehouses for various clients across the world.

He is currently working as Senior Consultant with Tata Consultancy Services in  Technology Excellence Group for Insurance practice, based out of Bangalore.

Prior to TCS, worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions(Bangalore), Oracle Corporation(USA), Emirates Airlines(UAE), Tata Unisys Ltd(Mumbai), and Patni Computers Ltd(Mumbai), in various capacities in India and abroad. His core skills are: Oracle database and related areas, Data Architecture, and Data Integration.

Subra Hoysala, “Building and maturing scalable, agile data warehouses in the BFSI domain – Business + Technology Perspective” 5:00 PM to 6 PM

He will specifically share the practical challenges and solutions from his experience, including risk, compliance and merger and acquisition perspective.

Subra Hoysala manages the Enterprise Architecture and Application Development for HighMark Inc, a Global Health Insurance Leader, a conglomerate of many business subsidiaries. He has over 17 years of Technology Leadership and Management experience in complete lifecycle of global Financial applications. He has about 10+ years of enterprise Architecture experience across spectrum of technologies.

He has experience establishing and measuring Metrics to setup goals and service level agreements and dealt with multiple project management methodologies including waterfall, RUP, and Agile. He is well versed in EA frameworks/methodologies and has been a mentor to others. He is a strong proponent of proven industry & technical Standards.

Previously, he has worked for Amex, Mellon and Bank of New York for about 15 years in the field of investment banking and wealth management. He has been a key member of technology management to perform due-diligence checks on company mergers & technology integration, planning & implementation of enterprise wide technical solutions, leading architecture group.

Subra Hoysala has MBA from Carnegie Mellon (2003) and Masters in Computer Aided process and control – Chemical Engineering (1993).
